PGDT are pleased to announce that the 45A & 70A models, in the popular i-Drive permanent magnet motor controller range, have recently gained UL recognized component status. Extremely compact, with a footprint of just 131mm x 74mm, their combination of small size and UL recognition makes for a unique formula and further strengthens the i-Drive’s position as the leading controller solution for the floorcare market. As a result of this achievement, the complete i-Drive range, from 45A to 200A, has now attained this significant US benchmark standard.

News :: Launch of newVSI controller for Wheelchairs
The newVSI, is the successor to the popular VSI family of controllers, and provides a future solution for wheelchair designs that require a simple, Integral package. Compact and reliable, the newVSI offers all the function of the existing 50A drive-only VSI models, but in a much more elegant package and with enhanced drive control. There are also a number of new service utilities, such as reminders and live diagnostics, which will reduce life-time maintenance costs for the wheelchair providers and users. In terms of connections and mounting, the newVSI is 100% compatible with VSI, thereby making replacement an extremely simple process.

News :: Launch of AC controller for Pallet trucks
The C3 Controller, new from PGDT, is targeted primarily at Class 3 vehicles with lifting capacities in the 1.0t – 3.0t range. Available as a 24V unit with 200Arms and 250Arms power ratings, the product controls all traction and hydraulic functions, as well as providing the necessary functionality for: operation of a line contactor and electro-magnetic brake, safe power-up and drive sequencing, belly-button, low battery manage-ment and a suite of diagnostic and service features. A unique auto-commissioning procedure dramatically reduces the time needed to match a controller to a motor, meaning optimal efficiency can be achieved in just a few minutes
