eWARRANTY SCHEME

In conjunction with some mobility vehicle manufacturers, PG Drives Technology offers an express warranty swap-out scheme. The purpose of this scheme is to despatch, no later than the next working day, a free-of-charge replacement control system for one reported as being defective. The scheme also arranges for the reported defective control system to be collected, without charge, and returned to PG Drives Technology for investigation.

The conditions of the scheme are as set out below:

1.
The organisation reporting the defective control system must be registered with PG Drives Technology as participating within the scheme. Click here for details of how to participate.

2.
The unit must be eligible for the scheme by meeting the following conditions.
  1. The type of control system is covered by the scheme.
  2. The control system is within the warranty period. The warranty period is typically 24 months, but may vary between manufacturers and control system type.
  3. The unit is fitted to a mobility vehicle supplied by a manufacturer who is also participating in the scheme.
These criteria will be automatically assessed as you make a submission.

3.
A Defect Report Form must be correctly completed. All mandatory information is marked.

4.
The Defect Report Form makes every effort to help you identify if the control system is truly defective, as opposed to the problem being on the vehicle itself. If all parts of the Defect Report Form are correctly completed, then PG Drives Technology will honour the scheme. If, however, the form is not correctly completed or the control system is subsequently found to be damaged through customer liability or does not exhibit a functional defect when assessed by PGDT, then a charge may be levied.

Use the Diagnostic Pages within this site to verify that the control system is truly defective and not just tripped because of the vehicle it is connected to.

5.
If the reported defective control system is not available for collection when PG Drives Technology's carrier arrives, then a charge may be levied. To avoid this, please ensure the reported defective control system is packaged and ready for collection at the time it is reported to PG Drives Technology.

If you meet and agree with the conditions set out above and wish to report a defective unit, please click here.
